NOVACES Awarded Contract for Comprehensive Business Process Improvement Support for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation
The company will provide a full range of support, emphasizing Continuous Process Improvement and Lean Six Sigma services under the blanket purchase agreement.
New Orleans, LA (PRWEB/VocusPR) December 3, 2010 -- NOVACES, a leading provider of Lean Six Sigma, continuous process improvement (CPI), and performance improvement consulting and training services to the public sector, announced today that it has been competitively selected by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) to provide business process improvement support. The Blanket Purchase Agreement includes four option years.
PBGC protects the retirement incomes of more than 44 million American workers in over 27,500 private-sector defined benefit pension plans. The organization is not funded by general tax revenues. Rather, PBGC collects insurance premiums from employers that sponsor insured pension plans, earns money from investments and receives funds from pension plans it takes over.
NOVACES will leverage its portfolio of performance improvement services to the Federal Government in diverse areas such as naval shipbuilding, aviation maintenance, defense logistics, military healthcare, missile defense, garrison services, and public engineering services to assist PBGC’s Business Process Management Unit.
Under this contract, NOVACES will lead process improvement work sessions for PBGC’s transactional services and knowledge-based systems, and work with the organization’s management on other relevant process and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. The work will focus attention on staff development endeavors, including project identification, execution, and performance measurement.
“We are pleased to have this opportunity to leverage our extensive experience in CPI, project management, and change management in complex transactional environments,” said Ivan Radovic, President of NOVACES. “Our SystemCPI methodology brings a comprehensive set of performance improvement tools to help PBGC move rapidly toward self-sufficiency.”
